During Literacy Night, Coleman experienced a night of informative information from our presenter Mrs. Rule, from (Arts for Justice). Our very own Zayne read the book "Kenneth's Big Choice" to the audience.
This book teaches scholars about making decisions and justice through art.

Coleman Elementary Parents/Guardians, this is just a reminder that we have early dismissal today due to Parent Teacher Conference. The first bell will ring at 2:10 for city buses, 2:15 for car and van riders, and 2:25 for country buses. Please make necessary arrangements to have all students picked up by 2:25. There will be no school for students tomorrow Friday, March 15th due to Professional Development for teachers. Enjoy Spring Break next week and we look forward to seeing our scholars on Monday, March 25th.

Coleman Elementary School will host Donuts with Grownups at the Book Fair in the morning at 7:30. Parents/Guardians, please come to the library and help us wrap up Read Across America Week. Students are allowed to wear something green.

Family and Love Ones, ATLAS Testing is here. Please read the attached information to ensure your child/children are ready to score successful on the writing exam.


We will kickoff Read Across America Week next week at Coleman Elementary School with daily activities. It is also Kickoff for the ATLAS Writing Assessment for Grades 3-5. The Writing portion of the ATLAS Assessment will be March 11th for 3rd & 4th Graders and March 12th for 5th Grade.

Good Morning Parents/Guardians of Coleman Elementary. This is just a reminder that there will be no early release day on Wednesdays. Wednesdays are now a regular school day, and students will be dismissed at 3:10 for city buses, 3:15 for car and van riders, and 3:25 for country buses each Wednesday to make up days due to inclement weather. Please make necessary arrangements for all car riders to be picked up by 3:25. All employees are scheduled to leave by 3:30 and are not required to stay past that time. Thank you and have a great day.
