Watson Chapel needs your help! We are asking for a millage increase on August 9 to help with the cost of a new, safe high school for our students. An increase would still keep us below other districts in Jefferson County while investing in our students and community!
WCSD will open our virtual learning application on Friday, July 1, 2022 for the upcoming school year with a deadline of August 5, 2022. Applications will be time and date stamped upon submission and reviewed in the order they are received. It will be posted on our district website under NEWS.
Orientation will be announced as soon as it is finalized and attendance at an orientation session by students and a guardian will be mandatory for virtual students. Spots are limited so fill out the application early!
Parents of GIRLS entering grades 1-9, there's only a week left to sign up for Lady Cat Basketball Camp with Coach Henderson to be held May 31 - June 3! Cost is only $20 and that includes a t-shirt. See image for application and more information!
Mrs. Campbell’s 6th Grade Scholars had to solve problems involving scale drawings. The Scholars used different candy bar wrappers to compute actual lengths and areas from a scale drawing. The Scholars had to reproduce a scale drawing of a different scale using equivalent ratios and Geometry.

Congratulations to Kenneth Graydon and Micah Horton for representing Coleman Elementary at Discovering Excellence in Arkansas held at the Museum of Discovery Thursday, May 5th. Kenneth and Micah worked together to complete challenges throughout the evening. They were the first team to complete 3 of the 6 challenges. We are proud of both of you! Thank you, Mrs. Reynolds for working with our scholars.
